2018 Cars In Review

With the end of the year in sight, and every website giving a year in review, we figured we would jump on the bandwagon. Over the last year, we have reviewed and drove some amazing cars, but what were our top 5 cars of 2018?

Number 5: Mazda CX-5

Although we did not do a review on this vehicle, I did have to use one as a rental car for work and I must say I was impressed. Even being a smaller crossover, the leg room and inside storage was immense. And the exterior styling was on point! The biggest thing that impressed me was the overall feel of the car in terms of style, and quality in comparison to the price tag.

Number 4: VW Atlas

The VW Atlas is the newest addition to the VW, and we must say it is welcomed with open arms. With a full 3rd row, and enough creature comforts to make a queen happy, the VW Atlas hit it out of the park.

Number 3: Chevy 1500 Dbl Cab

How could we make a list on the best cars and trucks and not have a Silverado? For years, the Chevy Silverado has been one of the longest lasting trucks on the road. With the 2016 face lift, the Silverado has gotten a healthy dose of fancy tech and features If you want even more, look at the 2019 Silverado!

Number 2: Jeep Cherokee

The face lift Jeep Cherokee is almost like the older Cherokee finally broke out of its awkward teenage years. Gone are the awkward bug eyes and here to stay are a more normal, stylish headlight. The interior is a very nice blend between Jeep and class.

Number 1: Chevy Colorado ZR2

This was by far my favorite vehicle to drive this year. Depending on your needs, there are a large variety of options in cab lengths, engine size and type, and interior features. Although it is on the higher end in price, you do get alot for what you pay for. If you need a truck to do truck stuff with, but need to park in tight spaces, the ZR2 is the truck for you.
